Increasing access of Sexual Reproductive Health services in underserved communities of area C in Palestine

Overall goal:

To contribute to reducing maternal, neonatal and child mortality, morbidity; and improving sexual and reproductive health of people living in Area C of the Palestinian Territories and to address domestic and sexual violence among the Palestinian population.


Specific Objectives:

To increase access to high quality SRH services in underserved communities in areas C of (Bethlehem, Hebron, Halhoul, and Ramallah) through PFPPA mobile team during 12 months period.

To increase access to comprehensive GBV and SGBV services in Gaza.

To increase the awareness of 5600 women on SRH in underserved communities in area C in the 4 areas of PFPPA work (Bethlehem, Hebron, Halhoul, Ramallah and Gaza) through conducting 280 awareness sessions during 12 months period

To increase the awareness of 3000 youth in the underserved communities in area C in the 4 areas of PFPPA work (Bethlehem, Hebron, Halhoul, and Ramallah) during 12 months period.


Target beneficiaries:

Women and girls of reproductive age (aged between 15 and 49) whose access to SRH information, counseling and services is limited or non-existent.

Young people of both sexes whose access to SRH services and information is limited or non-existent.

Survivors of gender-based violence, rape cases, who require qualified, comprehensive treatment including social/legal/psychological and medical counseling.

Children whose access to pediatric services is limited or non-existent.


Project activities:

Objective 1: To increase access to high quality SRH services in underserved communities in areas C of (Bethlehem, Hebron, Halhul, and Ramallah) through PFPPA mobile team during 12 months period.

1: Conduct a launching meeting for the project

2: Provide SRH services through the mobile team in areas C in 4 areas of PFPPA work

3: Conduct 6 coordination and follow up visits

4: Conduct 6 monitoring visits


Objective 2: To increase access to comprehensive GBV and SGBV services in Gaza

1: Provide comprehensive GBV and SGBV services in Gaza


Objective 3: To increase the awareness of 5600 women on SRH in underserved communities in area C in the 4 areas of PFPPA work (Bethlehem, Hebron, Halhul, Ramallah and Gaza) through conducting 280 awareness sessions during 12 months period

1: Conduct demand generation activities on various SRH issues targeting 5600 women.


Objective 4: To increase the knowledge of 3000 youth on SRH issues in the underserved communities in area C (Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah and Gaza) during 12months period.

1: To conduct 4 peer to peer educators’ training courses

2: To conduct 200 peer education awareness sessions in the underserved communities in area C

3: To use the social media to conduct messages regarding SRH issues
